Liberation of Lemnos Dance October 2024
WHAT A FANTASTIC NIGHT WE ALL HAD, at the Liberation of Lemnos Dance on Saturday night at the Lemnos Club!
Thank you to our special guests, Sophie Cotsis MP (Member for Canterbury/ Minister for Industrial Relations of NSW & Minister for Work Health and Safety), Commodore John Stavridis (CSC Royal Australian Navy and a proud Lemnian), Pria Viswalingam (Pria was responsible in organising the SBS Documentary ANZAC - LEMNOS 1915).
Congratulations to the dancers from the 'Paroula School of Traditional and Contemporary Dance' taught by Paroula Thurban and Nicole Englezos, for their professional performances.
Thank you to our very own Lemnian Bouzouki player Tassos, with his father George Lambrou on Piano Accordion and Peter on Guitar for the great music and song.
Finally, a big thank you from our Committee to all our Members, their families and friends for attending our Annual Liberation of Lemnos Dance and making it a very memorable event, see you all again at our next function.
